Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts Francisco Neto, Marcio Stambowsky, and Roger Denton will teach a BJJ seminar at C3 Athletics in Stamford on August 1st. This is a charity event, and it's open to everyone. The minimum suggested donation is $50 per person, and 100% of the proceeds will go to a cancer treatment fund for Andre Margutti from Team Yamasaki. Click the image above for details.
We would like to thank everyone who represented Team CTMMA at Grappler's Quest in Hartford today. Results will be posted shortly.

Beginning this week, there is a new CTMMA Jiu-Jitsu program at CrossFit in Cheshire! Click here for information. Regular classes will be taught by CTMMA Brown Belt Adam Laudano, and other CTMMA instructors will occasionally visit to teach seminars.

CTMMA would like to thank our good friend and Jiu-Jitsu legend Marcio "Macarrao" Stambowsky, who received his coral belt (7th degree black belt)yesterday! What a great accomplishment! We will hold a ceremony later in the summer to pay respect to Marcio's outstanding achievement - stay tuned for details.
Congratulations to Stephane Smarth for winning another unanimous decision in his Muay Thai kickboxing match tonight! The C3 Competition Team is off to a great start!

Seminar News: Alvaro Romano (3rd Degree Black Belt and founder of Ginastia Natural) and his son Rafael (certified Ginastica Natural instructor and BJJ World Championship competitor) will visit CTMMA in August. Cesar Pereira - head of CTMMA's school in Brazil - will be back in October! Event details coming soon!!

Roli "The Crazy Cuban" Delgado is in town for the Grand Opening of C3 Athletics in Stamford. We have also invited him to the New Haven school for a foot lock seminar on Tuesday, 6/8/10. This is tentative until we gauge interest; because this is short notice, we will keep this seminar as affordable as possible for everyone. If you are interested in attending, please email management ASAP to be placed on the list.

Congratulations to the fighters who competed in Michael Corleone's Kayo Fight Night in Long Island last night. We had some great Muay Thai matches! Ramzey Prentiss won by decision; Deb Losey won by decision and got Fight of the Night. Carlos Nunez won his first fight by TKO, and then stepped in to fight another opponent who outweighed him by 30 lbs! We want to thank the competitors for representing our team so well! We're really proud of you guys!
We'd also like to thank Rick Screeton, Michael Corleone, and everyone from C3, LA Boxing, and CTMMA who came to the event to support the team!

UFC 112 Tonight!
