CTMMA and Gracie Sports Academy want to congragulate Neiman Gracie and Joe Oppedisano for their efforts competing at the 2008 Jiu Jitsu World Championships at Cal State Long Beach. Joe weighed in at 195lbs and competed Super Heavy with his smallest opponent weighing in at 270lbs. Neiman also made a great showing, winning all his matches on Friday before getting disqualified due to illegal foot lock in his fourth match. Murilo Bustamante - a BJJ black belt, former UFC middleweight champion, former PRIDE welterweight champion, and founder of Brazilian Top Team - will host a seminar at CTMMA on Sunday, April 13th at 12pm. Bustamante is known for his aggressive fighting style, with solid boxing and fantastic submission and grappling skills, and he's definitely going to teach a great seminar!
